Privacy policy

Where do we process your personal data?

Sapfir AB(559173-512), Bodalsvägen 51, 181 37 Lidingö (“Sapfir”) conducts its business under the domain name www.sapfir.se. We always strive to process your personal data within Sweden, and all our own IT systems are located within the EU/EEA. However, for operational support and maintenance, we use a data processor based in Sweden. In the case of system support and maintenance, we may need to transfer information to a country within the EU/EEA. For example, if we share your personal data with a data processor that is either established or stores information in a country within the EU/EEA. In these cases, the data processor may only access the information relevant to the purpose (e.g., log files). In such cases, we have entered into data processor agreements that enable us to maintain control over our information assets. Regardless of the country where your personal data is processed, we take all reasonable legal, technical, and organizational measures to ensure that the level of protection is the same as within the EU/EEA. 

What are your rights as a data subject? 

You have the right to obtain a so-called registry extract. We are always open and transparent about how we process your personal data, and if you want a deeper insight into the personal data we process about you, you can request access to the data. Right to object to certain types of processing. You always have the right to op-out of marketing and to object to any processing of personal data based on a balance of interests. If you object to direct marketing, we will cease the processing of your personal data for that purpose, as well as cease any type of direct marketing actions. Right to erasure. In certain cases, you have the right to have your personal data erased, for example, if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Please note that Sapfir, in certain cases, needs to retain certain information according to the law and therefore is unable to delete the information. 

How are your personal data protected? 

We use IT systems to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data. We have implemented specific security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing (such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or damage). Only those individuals who actually need to process your personal data for us to fulfill our stated purposes have access to them.

What does it mean that the Swedish Data Protection Authority is the supervisory authority?

The Swedish Data protection Authority is responsible for overseeing the application of personal data legislation. If you, as an individual, believe that Sapfir is processing personal data in an incorrect manner, you can submit a complaint to the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Changes

We may make changes to our privacy policy. For updates that are of crucial importance to processing of personal data (e.g changes to the stated purposes or categories of personal data) or updates that are not crucial but may be of crucial importance to you, you will receive information on the Sapfir website well in advance before the updates take effect.
